What they have done is added pedestrians and masonry cladding to the

But, if this is the view at Mann, where is the background? We should see half of downtown behind the tunnel entrance!

Note in particular the high black chainlink fencing along the line as well as the mid-height fencing on top of the hill behind the maple leaf flower garden. Why not just ruin what little view the transit users will have?
